Spa Cover Measuring Guide
1) Review the below diagrams and determine which cover shape you will need, ie; square, octagon, circle, etc. 2) Make a list of the Measurements you will need. Such as, i.e.; Measurement A, Measurement B, Measurement C, etc. 3) Measure your spa, remember all Measurements are in inches, rounded up to the nearest 1/2". 4) Double check all of your Measurements. Make sure and measure to the OUTSIDE lip of your spa, not the base cabinet, but to the OUTSIDE of the spa that extends above the base cabinet. 5) Enter the spa dimensions on product page. (i.e A=96, B=96, R=12)
Measurements must be exact for the cover to fit correctly. All custom-made cover sales are final. Payments are not refundable.
 | | | | | | | Radius or Rounded Corners
This is the one that makes everyone worried. As the diagram shows the easiest way to measure a radius is with a carpenter square. The dimension needed is from the start of the bend to the imaginery point of the square if the tub was actually square. Rule of thumb is smaller is safer than larger. The smaller the radius the more square the corner of the hot tub cover. | | Skirt Measurment
The skirt is the flap that hangs from the bottom of your cover. The skirt is really just cosmetic but if not measured correctly can cause some problems because if it is too long it will bunch and push your spa cover up. If you have a wood rail around top of spa, measure from the top of the wood rail to the top of your spa acrylic. If anything you want to be a little short rather than long so the skirt does not bunch. If you do not have a wood rail then you want to measure from the top of the spa to the bottom of the spa lip and add 1/2". | Hinge Fold Direction
This is the fold direction you require. By default, we cut the longest of the two sides in half. If you want the opposite fold, check the Hinge Fold checkbox when ordering. |
